First-time client, TRUSOLV Products, came to Nimlok Chicago with ideas for a fresh, custom project for a product line debut at the AAPEX show in Las Vegas. The trade show exhibit needed to create recognition for the new GarageBOSS brand of fuel containers and oil-drain products, using consistent visual elements and messaging throughout the space.
The designers of the GarageBOSS display needed to think creatively in order to fit in with the client’s budget, all while keeping the brand’s unique theme and individuality top of mind. The solution? A one-of-a-kind custom trade show booth with distinctive flooring, custom-made shelving for product display, all coupled with a repurposed backwall with newly printed graphics.
Much of the project’s design was a result of the effective collaboration between the client and Nimlok Chicago. Pinterest was used as a source of inspiration for several of the exhibit’s distinct elements. Epoxy flooring served as a backdrop for the exhibit’s industrial, garage-like theme. Elevated red leather seating, a red metal tool drawer for storage, and industrial lighting were among the unique elements that tied the hip, edgy theme together and reflected the GarageBOSS branding.
The open flow of ideas, along with effective communication and outside-the-box thinking was what made TRUSOLV’s GarageBOSS debut successful at AAPEX 2016.
