Are you ready to take your trade show and events career to the next level? Nimlok Chicago is seeking a motivated, self-starting Account Executive with a passion for building client relationships and delivering impactful results. As the premier provider of integrated exhibit, event, and environment solutions, we help clients develop strategic exhibit and event programs—offering award-winning design, fabrication, installation, dismantle, and exhibit management—all under one roof.
Key Responsibilities
• Prospect, generate, and qualify new business leads.
• Assess opportunities and determine the value and fit for our business.
• Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business, culture, and marketing objectives.
• Analyze client briefs and extract relevant insights for internal teams.
• Create and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and strategies.
• Collaborate with designers to develop aesthetic, functional, and cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare clear, compelling quotes that reflect proposed solutions.
• Communicate strategic initiatives to internal teams, ensuring project alignment with client expectations.
• Support internal teams with client management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain regular contact with clients using relationship-building strategies.
• Track and report on sales activity, leads, and forecasts.
• Contribute ideas for service and process improvements.
• Consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of sales experience in the trade show exhibit industry.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven “hunter” mentality with strong prospecting skills.
• Advanced relationship-building and account management skills.
• Highly organized, proactive, and goal-oriented with a positive, team-focused attitude.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Skilled in negotiation and closing.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Track record of success using innovative sales strategies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and CRM software.
• Willing to travel as needed.
