Nimlok Chicago is a full-service trade show exhibit and display company that designs, builds, and installs dynamic branded environments. We help our clients bring their brands to life through engaging exhibits that inspire connections. As part of our continued growth, we’re looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our talented team and support our mission of delivering exceptional client experiences.
You’ll play a key role in supporting our Account Executives and clients throughout the sales process, from prospecting and proposal development to project delivery. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and production, to ensure that each client’s vision is understood, communicated, and executed with precision.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop a deep understanding and partnership with each account, understanding their business, culture, and marketing objectives.
• Support the Account Executive in client meetings — take detailed notes, prepare follow-ups, and write recap summaries.
• Strategize and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and excellent service.
• Prospect, generate, and qualify new business leads.
• Assess opportunities and determine value and fit for Nimlok Chicago.
• Research vendors and gather quotes for outsourced elements such as show services.
• Collaborate with designers and production staff to develop creative, functional, and cost-effective exhibit solutions.
• Create detailed quotes, proposals, and client-centric presentations.
• Participate in project kick-off meetings to communicate client details to production teams.
• Manage and fulfill production orders when needed.
• Track and report on sales activities, leads, and forecasts.
• Contribute ideas for improving internal processes and client experience.
• Consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
• Re-engage dormant customers through cold calling and email outreach.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in sales support, client services, or project management (trade show experience preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Advanced relationship-building and account management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience preferred.
