Are you looking to further your career in trade shows and events? Nimlok Chicago is currently seeking a
motivated, self-starting professional to fill the Account Manager position.
Nimlok Chicago is the premier integrated exhibit, event, and environment solutions provider. We
partner with our clients in developing their strategic exhibit and event programs. This includes delivering
award-winning design, fabrication, install and dismantle, and exhibit management – all under one roof.

Responsibilities
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients after the sale, providing clear communication and
proactive project updates.
• Create and manage production timelines for clients, internal teams, vendors, and other project
stakeholders.
• Coordinate and direct the efforts of internal departments and external vendors from project
kickoff through completion.
• Order materials and services required for project production and follow up with vendors to
ensure schedules and deliverables remain on track.
• Complete and submit trade show service forms, including electrical, rigging, labor, furnishings,
internet, and other show-related requirements.
• Host client previews and coordinate final project approvals prior to shipping.
• Prepare show-site information as needed, including supervisor packets, floor plans, layouts,
travel details, transportation information, and other event logistics.
• Review vendor costs, reconcile project expenses, and ensure jobs are completed on time and
within budget.
• Invoice completed projects and archive all job information for future reference.

Requirements
• 3+ years of trade show, exhibit, event, or experiential marketing experience.
• Account management, project management, or client service experience preferred.
• College degree preferred, but not required.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
• Positive, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-service mindset.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite

This position has a starting pay of $70,000 a year plus 401k match and benefits.

dynamic branded environments. We help our clients bring their brands to life through engaging exhibits
that inspire connections. As part of our continued growth, we’re looking for a Exhibit Designer to join our
talented team and support our mission of delivering exceptional client experiences.
This role is responsible for designing innovative, brand-driven trade show environments that balance
aesthetics, functionality, and budget. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced
environment and is passionate about experiential and environmental design.


Key Responsibilities
• Create 3D models of trade show exhibits and branded environments
• Produce high-quality renderings with integrated client graphics
• Develop presentation-ready visuals including callouts, material annotations, and dimensional
details
• Develop concept sketches, mood boards, and creative direction materials
• Design with strong knowledge of custom and modular exhibit construction methods
• Utilize and creatively incorporate Nimlok Chicago’s rental inventory into exhibit concepts
• Understand how to maximize design impact while leveraging existing structural components
• Balance customization with modular efficiency to maintain cost control and scalability
• Follow established design schedules and project timelines
• Collaborate closely with the sales team and estimator to translate client goals into design
solutions
• Work under the direction of the Design Director
• Participate in client meetings and site visits as needed
• Execute revisions efficiently based on client and internal feedback
• Understand and interpret client brands, messaging, and objectives
• Balance aesthetic vision, functionality, structural considerations, and cost parameters
• Research and select vendors, materials, and finishes
• Stay current with design trends in trade shows, experiential marketing, and branded
environments


Qualifications
• Strong proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., Vectorworks, KeyShot, AutoCad,
SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar)
• Experience designing trade show exhibits, experiential spaces, or branded environments
preferred
• Understanding of materials, fabrication processes, and exhibit construction principles
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Graphic design skills are a plus
