The GAM Timeline Wall project was a particularly exciting challenge for our team!  What began as a long, ordinary corridor at GAM’s headquarters became a dynamic storytelling space. We worked closely with the GAM team to develop a chronological narrative that celebrates their history, people and products. From initial consultation and space planning to graphic design, custom fabrication and installation, Nimlok Chicago provided a completely turn‑key experience.

Starting with a striking perforated‑metal GAM logo at the entrance, the timeline guides visitors through the company’s milestones from its founding in 1990 to its recent expansion and innovations. Large, vertically oriented year markers in GAM’s signature blue highlight key achievements, while printed panels explain how the company outgrew its first facility and nearly tripled its space at the new Mount Prospect headquarters. Integrated display cases showcase patents and awards, and custom shelves display servo gearboxes and other precision products. The immersive experience concludes with an “Our Family” gallery that honors the employees behind the brand with black‑and‑white portraits and dimensional lettering.
