About Project

Nimlok Chicago worked with long-time client, Aryzta, to create a unique trade show exhibit that would draw in audiences and keep them captivated and engaged. Keeping in tradition with its previous booth, Aryzta introduced innovative engagement with a charitable twist. The main attraction was an immersive VR hockey game where players attempted to shoot donuts into a net. A fun “photo op” wall attracted guests to take photos, which were then displayed on one of the walls of the exhibit.

For the evening portion of the show, Aryzta invited guests to step off of the show floor into a more casual and relaxing environment. The inside of the trade show booth housed a “bar trivia” event with questions about various sports and baking knowledge—the two overarching themes of the exhibit’s design.

While a big part of Aryzta’s show success relied on the engagement and interactivity, design played a big role as well. The theme combined both sports and bakery elements for a unique spin that would intrigue showgoers. Exceptional graphics provided crucial brand messaging, while pastry cases with lit walls created an attractive display that drew hungry eyes in. With practicality in mind, freezers and refrigerators were integrated into the booth to house plenty of samples for visitors. Neon signs and fabric printed with a rich brick pattern created an atmosphere reminiscent of a local sports bar—the perfect setting for a fun, relaxing time out.

With Nimlok Chicago’s help, Aryzta created an inviting atmosphere and unique engagement activities, which helped it taste a win at the Tim Hortons Owners Convention.
