30′ × 30′ Island NACS Show Modular Exhibit

The Brief

Two brands, one island, zero tolerance for a heavy booth.

Chester’s Chicken had just completed a full brand refresh and needed a 30′×30′ island to represent both Chester’s Chicken and BirdShack in one cohesive footprint, with a fully functioning kitchen, food sampling area, and a structure that ships noticeably lighter than their previous heavy exhibit.

Modular FAQs

Everything you want to know about modular exhibits, from the team that invented the category 50+ years ago.

A modular exhibit is built on a pre-engineered aluminum frame and panel system that can be reconfigured show to show. Custom exhibits are one-off builds, designed and fabricated from scratch for a single program. Modular gives you the look and feel of custom at a lower cost, plus the flexibility to reshape the same hardware into different footprints as your show schedule evolves.

Yes, that is exactly what our channel and panel system is designed to do. We plan your modular hardware so it can compress into a 10′×10′ or 10′×20′ footprint for smaller regional shows and expand into a 20′×20′, 20′×40′, or larger island for your flagship events. One investment, many footprints.

Modular is one of the fastest systems to install. A typical 20′×20′ modular booth sets up in a half day to a full day, with dismantle running even quicker. Larger islands with meeting rooms, hanging signs, and AV take longer. Either way, tool-less connections and clearly labeled components keep labor hours, and labor bills, well under what a custom build would require.

Absolutely. Our SEG (silicone edge graphic) fabric panels zip in and out of the aluminum frames in minutes. Launching a new product? Running a seasonal campaign? Targeting a different vertical at the next show? Print new fabric, swap it in, and the booth instantly looks new. The hardware stays the same, the message stays current.

Our aluminum frames are built to last. With proper handling, a modular system comfortably delivers 10 or more years of active show life. Hardware can be upgraded, graphics can be refreshed, and individual components can be replaced without touching the rest of the booth. It ages gracefully instead of going obsolete.

In most cases, yes. The hardware itself costs less than custom fabrication. You also save on shipping, drayage, labor, and storage because modular is lighter and more compact. Over a 3 to 5 year program with multiple shows, clients routinely see significant savings compared to custom, while still getting a fully branded, visually impressive booth.

Yes, the modular system is designed to host it. We integrate LED video walls, interactive touchscreens, backlit graphics, hanging signs, product demo stations, and custom lighting directly into the framework. Your booth stays modular and flexible, even with custom AV built in.

Easy. Reach out through our contact form and we will pair you with an account executive and designer to talk through your show schedule, brand, budget, and goals. From there we share initial concepts, renderings, and a transparent estimate. You walk through the booth in our warehouse before it ships, so there are no surprises on show day.
